We are looking for a strong, impactful Business Development Manager with considerable experience in direct selling to large enterprises within mainland European markets.
The ideal candidate will have enterprise-level, cross-border selling experience to multinational companies (10k+ employees) preferably in the HR Technology space.
As an accomplished Business Development Manager, you will have a thorough understanding of the cultures and nuances of selling and building relationships in European markets and have the proven ability to go after high-value targeted accounts within these markets. As part of a global team, you will initiate and complete complex, multi-level sales cycles, presenting to C-level executives from HR, Procurement, IT, and Finance.

You will have a history of selling SaaS (Software as a Service) products into the European market with numbers to back it up and the ideal candidate will be comfortable at Board level interaction, understand bid processes and RFP’s as well as having success with complicated corporate firms with multiple stake holders.
The ideal candidate will be highly autonomous, self-sufficient, energetic and presentable and have experience of closing large deals ($1m+) with large blue-chip companies. You will be technically minded and can comfortably converse with clients on technology, including licence fees, integrations, interfaces and plug-ins. Smart discussions on the ROI will be paramount using all the benefits of a global capability.
This needs to be someone who has good levels of humility, with strength of character, knows what is important, someone who can get to work quickly and has tenacity to work on high-value sales, sometimes with long lead times.
As the role is focused on accelerated growth within the European markets, it would be ideal for you to have fluency in a European Language. You will need to travel across the region and also to our US Headquarters from time to time.
With high expectations of performance for the target market and this role, you will have exceptional support internally to achieve your goals which would range from access to our huge support network and frequent engagement on deals with our global strike team, which will assist you on for example, RFPs, bid writing and access to our virtual selling tools.
